The Vietnamese community in Canberra is buzzing with excitement! As more people join us, we’ve seen plenty of spontaneous small gatherings—lots of fun but craving something bigger. Many in the community have been wishing for a way to connect and celebrate our vibrant culture together. That’s when the founders of the Canberra Vietnamese Association (CVAS) had a lightbulb moment: if we don’t create an association now, when will we? And just like that, CVAS was born on September 2, 2024!
