From our founding: September 2, 2024 – now, nearly one year
Canberra—a place far in miles, but not in spirit—where the Vietnamese community has come together to build a shared home under the name of the Canberra Vietnamese Association (CVAS).
On September 2, 2024, CVAS was officially established—serving as a large “umbrella” that connects several active smaller groups:
- The Canberra Vietnamese Business Association
- The Vietnamese Music Lovers Group
- The Vietnamese Sports Enthusiasts Group
Together, we wrote the opening chapters of an inspiring story about unity, sharing, and community bonding.

Nearly one year—yet it’s just the beginning.
The road ahead is long—and we need you—to go further together.
Let’s continue spreading unity, pride, and the Vietnamese spirit in our distant home.
A strong community is one that has each other.
With love,
CVAS
